Thanks to the narrow shape and the high bent socket, a cable shovel is ideal for digging out trenches. Handy for laying fiber optic cable, irrigation or underground cable. The ATLAS shovel handle is made from ash wood rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood is computer-controlled re-dried in a climate chamber. This prevents the handle from shrinking, keeps the tool firmly attached to the handle and allows the through-mount T-grip to be pressed onto the handle without glue or a staple. In addition, the ATLAS handle is waxed with the plant-based Carnauba, which ensures a longer service life and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping to prevent blisters.
