Small ash wood wedge, 45 x 60 mm (per piece)

Wooden ash wood tapered wedge, small wedge 45x60mm, packaged in a handy hanging blister with EAN coding, description, and article number. This wooden wedge is used 1) for small repairs (filling gaps/clearance created by frequent or prolonged use). The wooden wedge is tapered, and a piece is removed from the wedge the size of the space to be filled, then it is carefully tapped into the space to be filled, the remainder is removed with a hacksaw, the repair is carefully sanded smooth, and the trusted tool feels like new again. 2) This wedge is used for mounting an axe handle with a slot. The wooden wedge is tapered, making it easy to hammer firmly into the handle (slot). The wooden wedge should be mounted as deep as possible, and the remainder should be cut off with a fine-tooth saw (hacksaw). Tip: use metal wedges (art.nr. 651415) and place them at a right angle to the already installed wooden wedge for locking. The axe handle expands and is clamped into the axe head. 3) This wedge is also used in spade and shovel handles with a slot at the bottom, such as those from Sneeboer.
