Fiskars telescopic tree pruner UPX82 with PowerGear transmission, a handle length of 165 cm and a pruning height of approximately 3.5 meters.

The Fiskars PowerGear UPX82 is a telescopic tree pruner with a fixed length of approximately 165 cm. In combination with the user, it provides a pruning height of about 3.5 meters. The telescopic tree pruner is suitable for cutting fresh wood* up to Ø 32 mm and makes it possible to reach higher or deeper branches from a distance.

The pruning head can be rotated up to 230° and can be locked in different positions. This allows the cutting angle to be adjusted to the position of the branch. The orange cutting support provides better visibility of the cutting position, which is especially helpful for targeted pruning from a distance.

The PowerGear X transmission amplifies cutting power, allowing branches to be cut with less effort. The fully hardened, precision-ground upper blade has a friction-reducing PTFE coating. This supports a smooth cutting motion and a clean cut in fresh wood.

The UPX82 is equipped with SoftGrip handles and an anti-slip end for better control while working. At approximately 1.1 kg, this telescopic tree pruner is lighter and more compact than the telescopic UPX86. The telescopic tree pruner can be combined with an adapter for a pruning saw and with a fruit picker.


*Pruning capacity up to a maximum of 32 mm for fresh and living wood, no thicker branches. Also take the hardness of the wood into account. Take into account a smaller pruning capacity for hard wood species such as oak, acacia, beech and fruit trees.
