Spade IDEAL 1002 no. 2 polished, with ring, step and ash wood T-handle 85 cm, blade size 18 x 28.5 cm

The Ideal spade 1002 no. 2 is a tree nursery spade with a strong blade made of high-quality hardened steel. The blade is conically rolled and therefore self-sharpens during use. The finely polished and transparent powder-coated finish protects the steel and ensures that soil releases more easily from the blade.

The blade is size 2, with a height of 285 mm, a width of 185 mm at the top, and a blade thickness of approximately 3.8 mm. The steps provide support when digging into firm soil and prevent footwear from being damaged.

A so-called tree nursery spade is a strong, forged spade with a durable blade. The name comes from uprooting. It is therefore a spade that is often used in tree nurseries, horticulture, and landscaping for uprooting, digging out, and transplanting trees and shrubs.

The bent ash wood T-handle of 85 cm is attached with a long double spring of 30 cm and an extra reinforcing ring. This construction makes the spade suitable for heavy uprooting work, nursery work, and planting work where a lot of force is applied to the blade and handle.
