The ATLAS plastic T-handle is, thanks to the 21 mm thick glass fiber reinforcement, resistant to extremely heavy-duty work and virtually unbreakable. The strong plastic protects the fiber core from damage. Damaged glass fiber has hundreds of protruding fibers, which can cause wounds that may become infected. The handle is not completely rigid, but has to some extent a desirable springiness. The grip of the handle is covered with natural rubber, which provides a good grip.
