Spade SPEAR & JACKSON 1041 AR with polished blade and FIBERGLASS D-handle, total length 117 cm. The blade is hardened, smoothly polished and has a sharp cutting edge.

The plastic handle is, thanks to the 24 mm thick fiberglass reinforcement, resistant to extremely heavy work and virtually unbreakable. The strong plastic protects the fiber core from damage. Damaged fiberglass contains hundreds of upright fibers; these can cause wounds that may become infected. The handle is not completely rigid, but has to some extent a desirable springy resilience. The grip of the shovel handle is covered with natural rubber, which provides a good grip.

Because this handle is so strong (stronger than the blade), no warranty is provided on the mounted blade in the event of breakage.
