Spade SPEAR & JACKSON 1041 AR with polished blade and FIBERGLASS D-handle, total length 110 cm. The blade is hardened, smoothly polished and has a sharp cutting edge.

The plastic handle, thanks to the 24 mm-thick glass-fiber reinforcement, can withstand extremely heavy work and is virtually unbreakable. The durable plastic protects the fiber core from damage. Damaged glass fiber contains hundreds of upright fibers; these can cause wounds that may become infected. The handle is not completely rigid, but has a certain desirable springiness. The grip of the shovel handle is covered with natural rubber, which provides a good grip.

Because this handle is so strong (stronger than the blade), no warranty is provided on the mounted blade in the event of breakage.
