Spear & Jackson spade type 1041AR, complete with an extra-long, very strong fiberglass T-handle. The overall length of the spade is 125 cm. Suitable for heavy-duty use. The recognizable yellow handle has a number of specific features such as: the grip is covered with natural rubber, the handle has a thick 21 mm fiberglass reinforcement and is surrounded by special plastic. This plastic protects the fiberglass from damage (damaged fiberglass has hundreds of upright fibers and can cause wounds with inflammation). This handle is not completely rigid, but has a certain desired amount of resilience. Because this handle is so strong (stronger than the blade), no warranty is given against breakage on the mounted spade blade. If, unexpectedly, the handle or the blade needs to be replaced, they are available separately (handle item no. 211800 or 211802), (blade item no. 810409), (rivet item no. 651590).
