Fencing maul handle ATLAS 110 cm, head size 50 x 34 mm

Fencing maul handle or garden hammer handle ATLAS made of ash wood, with head dimensions of 50 x 34 mm and a length of 110 cm. Suitable for a wooden fencing maul or garden hammer with an oval eye, such as the hammers with article numbers 650800, 650820, and 650950. Thanks to the oval shape of the handle, the hammer head is always in the correct striking direction. No pin or wedge is needed to mount this tapered handle.

ATLAS fencing maul and hammer handles are made from ash rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing, and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process, sawn ash wood planks are air-dried. During the second process, the ash wood is computer-controlled re-dried in a climate chamber. Because of the re-drying, the handle does not shrink and the hammer head stays firmly attached to the handle.

Next, the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based carnauba wax. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful light color. The waxing provides a longer service life and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping prevent blisters. In addition, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
