Fencing maul handle or garden hammer handle ATLAS made of ash wood, with head size 45 x 30 mm and a length of 110 cm. Suitable for a wooden fencing maul or garden hammer with a square eye. Due to the oval shape of the handle, the hammer head is always in the correct striking direction. No spie or wedge is needed to mount this handle.

ATLAS fencing maul and hammer handles are made from ash rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing, and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process, sawn ash wood boards are air-dried. During the second process, the ash wood is computer-controlled redried in a climate chamber. By redrying, the handle does not shrink and the hammer head stays firmly attached to the handle.

The ATLAS handle is then waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its attractive natural color. Waxing provides a longer service life and a pleasantly smooth handle, which helps prevent blisters. Moreover, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
