Spade handle ATLAS plastic 88 cm milled end, with fiber core 21 mm, for S&J spade

ATLAS spade handle made of plastic in yellow, straight T-handle, 88 cm in length, equipped with a fiber core, a rubber-coated grip, and a milled, smooth, narrow point, suitable for a Spear & Jackson spade or an ATLAS gooseneck spade. This handle is 8 cm longer than an original Spear & Jackson spade handle. For installation, a 40 mm rivet is recommended (item number 651590, including installation advice).

The ATLAS plastic shovel handle, thanks to its 21 mm thick fiberglass reinforcement, withstands extremely heavy-duty work and is virtually unbreakable. The strong plastic protects the fiber core from damage (damaged fiberglass contains hundreds of upright fibers; these can cause wounds that become infected). The handle is not completely rigid, but has a certain desirable amount of flexibility. The grip of the shovel handle is covered with natural rubber, which ensures a good grip.

Because this handle is so strong (stronger than the blade), no warranty is given on the mounted blade in the event of breakage.
