These laser-cut tines, with a kerf of 1.1 mm., cut through hard wood and green wood quickly and easily. The saw blade is best cleaned with olive oil. Resin dissolves in olive oil, making this an effective and environmentally friendly way to clean the blade and maintain cutting performance. Silky has been manufactured in Japan since 1919 from high-quality SK-4 carbon steel
