Blade length: 300 mm Tooth spacing: coarse (8 tines per 30 mm) The straight blade of the Gomtaro pruning saw is nickel coated and equipped with Silky's unique Mirai-Me tooth pattern. These laser-cut tines, with a kerf of 1.4 mm., saw fresh wood quickly and easily. The saw blade is flexible and only the razor-sharp tines are impulse hardened. The saw blade is best cleaned with olive oil. Resin dissolves in olive oil, making this an effective and environmentally friendly way to clean the blade and maintain cutting performance. Silky has been produced in Japan since 1919 from high-quality SK-4 carbon metal.
