(SILKY item number KZSI177401) The 390 mm long bent blade of the Hayauchi features Silky's unique 4-RETSUME tooth pattern. These laser-cut tines, with a kerf of 2.3 mm, provide high wood removal so you can easily and rapidly saw through the thickest branches without the saw getting stuck. The saw blade has a nickel coating, is flexible, and only the razor-sharp tines are impulse-hardened. Two blades (sickles) on the blade work together to provide optimal pruning performance. With the lower blade you cut into the bark so it does not tear away along the trunk when the branch falls. The upper blade prevents the saw from coming out of the cut. And with this upper blade you can easily cut twigs from the trunk or pull small (dead) branches out of the tree. The name Hayauchi is a combination of the Japanese words for 'fast' (haya) and 'to saw' (uchi). Pruning at a distance requires a reliable and versatile saw.
