Saw blade for Silky fixed straight pruning saw Gomtaro 300-8. (SILKY article number KSI310330). Blade length: 300 mm Tooth pattern: coarse (8 tines per 30 mm) The straight blade of the Gomtaro pruning saw is nickel coated and equipped with Silky's unique Mirai-Me tooth pattern. These laser-cut tines, with a kerf of 1.4 mm, cut fresh wood quickly and easily. The saw blade is flexible and only the razor-sharp tines are impulse hardened. The saw blade is best cleaned with olive oil. Resin dissolves in olive oil and this is therefore an effective and environmentally friendly way to clean the blade and preserve cutting performance. Silky has been manufactured in Japan since 1919 from high-quality SK-4 carbon steel.
