Saw blade for Silky fixed straight pruning saw Gomtaro 270-8. (SILKY article number KSI310327). Blade length: 270 mm Toothing: coarse (8 tines per 30 mm) The straight blade of the Gomtaro pruning saw is nickel-coated and fitted with Silky's unique Mirai-Me toothing. These laser-cut tines, with a kerf of 1.4 mm, saw quickly and easily through green wood. The saw blade is flexible and only the razor-sharp tines are impulse hardened. The saw blade is best cleaned with olive oil. Resin dissolves in olive oil and this is therefore an effective and environmentally friendly way to clean the blade and preserve the saw's cutting performance. Silky has been manufactured in Japan since 1919 from high-quality SK-4 carbon steel.
