Rubber Mallet Handle ATLAS 40 cm, head size 39 x 34 mm

ATLAS rubber mallet handle made of ash wood with head dimensions of 39 x 34 mm and a length of 40 cm. Thanks to the oval shape of the handle, the hammer head is always in the correct striking direction. No key or wedge is needed to mount the handle.

This handle is suitable for rubber mallets no. 4 with item numbers 998745, 998690 and 998740.

ATLAS rubber mallet handles are made from ash rootstocks, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process, sawn ash wood boards are air-dried. During the second process, the ash wood is computer-controlled redried in a climate chamber. Because of the redrying, the handle does not shrink and the hammer head stays firmly attached to the handle.

The ATLAS handle is then waxed with the plant-based Carnauba. This allows the wood to breathe, prevents it from absorbing water or dirt, and helps it retain its beautiful light color. The waxing provides a longer service life and a pleasant smooth handle, helping to prevent blisters. In addition, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
