The tapered blade of the tree root spade is fitted with sharp tines on both sides for cutting off roots. Due to the tapered shape of the blade, the tree root spade easily penetrates the soil. Thanks to the step on the upper side of the blade, footwear is not damaged during work.

Because of the cutting action of the blade, the tree root spade or Polygator is ideal for uprooting and transplanting perennials, shrubs, and trees.
