Waste tamper or Ground tamper ATLAS made of ash wood, flat model with a width of 15 cm and a length of 130 cm.
The ATLAS Waste tamper, due to its flat shape, is suitable for pressing down, tamping, and pushing away waste when it is stuck in an underground container.
In addition, this tamper is used as a Ground tamper for compacting soil along, for example, pipes, tubes, and concrete curbs. For this application, this ATLAS tamper is popular among pavers, fiber optic installers, and in infrastructure work.
This tamper is sometimes also called a bread pusher.
ATLAS tampers are made from ash rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-resistant, and strong. The Ground tamper is also waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful natural color. Waxing provides a longer lifespan and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping prevent blisters. In addition, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
ATLAS ash wood tampers are manufactured entirely energy-neutral in the Netherlands.
