Strong folding saw with long blade for pruning work and outdoor applications

Silky folding saw Bigboy 2000 360-6.5, with straight saw blade measuring 36 cm in length and extra coarse teeth.

The Silky Bigboy 2000 360-6.5 is a large folding saw with a lightly bent saw blade of 36 cm, suitable for trunks and branches up to about 18 cm thick. The curve keeps the teeth engaged with the wood during the pulling sawing motion and reduces the chance of the blade leaving the cut. The blade can be locked in two positions. The roomy rubber handle accommodates one or two hands and provides a firm grip even in damp conditions.

The extra-thick blade made of high-quality Japanese steel has extra coarse, non-set teeth with 6.5 teeth per 30 mm and a kerf of 1.7 mm wide. The large teeth remove a lot of wood with each stroke and quickly clear away coarse sawdust. This makes the saw suitable for thick trunks and heavy pruning work in fresh wood. The teeth can also handle hard wood, but they cut less smoothly in it than a finer tooth pattern.

The chrome-plated blade reduces friction and provides protection against wear and rust formation. The induction-hardened tooth tips stay sharp for a long time.

Keep the saw blade clean to maintain good cutting performance. Stuck resin can be removed with resin remover or olive oil. Dry the blade after use before folding the saw closed and store the saw in a dry place.
