Silky fixed bent pruning saw Zubat 390-7.5 incl. safety holster. SILKY article number KSI327039 blade length: 390 mm (up to approx. 195 mm) Tooth pitch: coarse (7.5 tines per 30 mm) The bent blade of the Zübat pruning saw is nickel coated and equipped with Silky's unique Mirai-Me tooth design. These laser-cut tines, with a kerf of 1.4 mm., cut through fresh wood quickly and easily. For cutting between knee height and shoulder height, a straight saw blade (Type Gomtaro) is recommended; for cutting below knee height and from shoulder height upward, a bent saw blade (Type Zübat) is recommended. The rubber handle fits comfortably and securely in the hand and absorbs vibrations. The Zübat pruning saw is available in multiple lengths. All saws in the Zübat series come with a lightweight polypropylene holster with a removable belt holder. The holster is designed so that the saw cannot fall out under any circumstances. At the same time, you can pull the saw out of the holster in one motion. The two rollers in the holster prevent the sharp tines from damaging the cover, and the bottom is equipped with a large opening for removing moisture and sawdust. The saw blade is best cleaned with olive oil. Resin dissolves in olive oil, making this an effective and environmentally friendly way to clean the blade and maintain cutting performance. Slide the included cover over the cleaned saw blade and store the saw in a dry place. Tip: Make sure to keep a spare saw blade nearby (art. no. 1542890) so you can always keep sawing easily. The name Zübat comes from the sound a samurai sword makes when it hits its target. Silky has been manufactured in Japan since 1919 from high-quality SK-4 carbon steel.
