These laser-cut teeth, with a kerf of 1.4 mm., saw quickly and easily through green wood. For sawing between the knee and up to shoulder height, a straight saw blade (Type Gomtaro) is recommended; for sawing below the knee and from shoulder height, a bent saw blade (Type Zübat) is recommended. The rubber handle feels comfortable and secure in the hand and absorbs vibrations. The Zübat pruning saw is available in several lengths. All saws from the Zübat series come with a lightweight polypropylene holster with detachable belt holder. The holster is designed so that the saw cannot fall out under any circumstances. At the same time, you can pull the saw out of the holster in one smooth motion. The two rollers in the holster prevent the sharp tines from damaging the sheath, and the bottom is equipped with a large opening for removing moisture and sawdust. It is best to clean the saw blade with olive oil. Resin dissolves in olive oil, making this an effective and environmentally friendly way to clean the blade and maintain cutting performance. Slide the included sheath over the cleaned saw blade and store the saw in a dry place. Tip: Keep a spare saw blade nearby (item no. 1542845), so you can always keep sawing easily.
