These laser-cut tines, with a kerf of 1.4 mm., saw through fresh wood quickly and easily. For cutting between the knee and shoulder height, a straight blade (Type Gomtaro) is recommended; for cutting below the knee and from shoulder height, a bent blade (Type Zübat) is recommended. The rubber handle feels comfortable and secure in the hand and absorbs vibrations. The Zübat pruning saw is available in several lengths. All saws in the Zübat series come with a lightweight polypropylene holster with removable belt holder. The holster is designed so the saw cannot fall out under any circumstances. At the same time, you can pull the saw out of the holster in one smooth motion. The two rollers in the holster prevent the sharp tines from damaging the cover, and the bottom has a large opening for removing moisture and sawdust. The saw blade is best cleaned with olive oil. Resin dissolves in olive oil, making this an effective and environmentally friendly way to clean the blade and maintain cutting performance.
