Silky pruning saw Gomtaro 300-13, with straight saw blade 30 cm long, fine Mirai-Me teeth and holster.

The Silky Gomtaro 300-13 is a fixed pruning saw with a straight 30 cm saw blade, suitable for branches up to approximately 15 cm thick. The straight blade is easy to guide precisely through the cut and leaves a smooth, controlled cut. This makes this version suitable for training pruning and work in harder wood types, among other applications. The rubber GOM handle provides a secure grip even in wet conditions and helps absorb vibrations while sawing.

The blade is made of high-quality Japanese steel and has a fine, non-set tooth pattern of 13 tines per 30 mm and a kerf of 1.1 mm wide. The fine tines are intended for hard, dry or slowly growing wood, such as many fruit trees. They engage evenly, provide more control and a neater finish than a coarse tooth pattern. In fresh, moisture-rich wood, the fine teeth can clog more quickly with sawdust.

The plastic holster has two guide rollers that protect the tines and keep the saw from falling out. The open bottom of the holster allows moisture and sawdust to drain away. The Gomtaro holster also has a removable belt holder.

Keep the saw blade clean to maintain good cutting results. Stuck resin can be removed with resin remover or olive oil. Dry the blade after use before folding the saw, and store the saw in a dry place.
