The included protective cover clamps the saw blade to the pole, allowing you to carry, transport, and store this compact polesaw safely and easily. The 360 mm long bent blade of the Longboy features Silky's unique Mirai-Me tooth pattern. These laser-cut tines, with a kerf of 1.4 mm, saw quickly and easily. The saw blade is chrome-plated, flexible, and only the razor-sharp tines are impulse hardened. The upper blade prevents the saw from slipping out of the kerf. And with this upper blade, you can also easily cut small twigs from the trunk or pull small (dead) branches out of the tree. Due to the oval shape of the aluminium pole, the saw blade stays in the correct sawing direction and provides precise control during pruning at height. The oval shape of the handle also provides strength and rigidity לאורך the entire length and minimizes bending to a minimum. The locking mechanisms (push buttons and clamps) together provide the safest and most stable locking of the desired pole length.
