Silky pruning saw Tsurugi 300-8, with a narrow straight saw blade 30 cm long, Mirai-Me tooth pattern and aluminium holster.

The Silky Tsurugi 300-8 is a fixed pruning saw with a narrow, straight 30 cm blade, suitable for branches up to about 15 cm thick. The low blade spine allows precise work in densely branched trees and shrubs, with less risk of damaging adjacent branches. The full steel core extends into the handle and provides a rigid, balanced design. The rubber Genki grip consists of two parts and can be removed without tools.

The chrome-plated blade of high-alloy Japanese steel has a coarse Mirai-Me tooth pattern of 8 tines per 30 mm and a kerf of 1.6 mm. The unset tines have multiple cutting edges and saw across, at an angle, and with the grain. The coarse tooth pattern removes sawdust quickly and is intended for fresh, moisture-rich wood. In dry wood, the tines may engage less easily and cause more vibration. The tine points are inductively hardened for long-lasting sharpness.

The included aluminium holster is suitable for right- and left-handed use. Four guide rollers protect the tines when inserting and removing the saw. An opening at the bottom allows moisture and sawdust to escape, so it does not build up in the holster.

Keep the saw blade clean to maintain good cutting performance. Stuck-on resin can be removed with resin remover or olive oil. Dry the blade after use before folding the saw and store the saw in a dry place.
