The bent blade is manufactured according to an exclusive FELCO sharpening process, which significantly improves the durability of the cutting edge. The aluminium handles of the FELCO 221-80 are made with an I-beam construction. As a result, they are lightweight, yet robust enough for heavier pruning work. In addition, the handles are interchangeable with the other lengths in the 221 series. The toothed nut ensures easy, precise adjustment of the upper and lower blade. The rubber shock absorbers on the handles provide cushioning and less strain on the wrist.
