The Hayate has a heavier construction than the Hayauchi, making this telescopic pole saw even more robust. This telescopic pole saw from Silky is razor-sharp, strong, easy to use and lightweight. The Hayate's 420 mm long bent blade features Silky's unique Mirai-Me tooth pattern. These laser-cut tines, with a kerf of 1.7 mm, provide substantial wood removal so you can easily and extremely quickly saw through the thickest branches without the saw becoming stuck. The saw blade is chrome-plated, flexible, and only the razor-sharp tines are impulse-hardened. Two blades (sickles) together provide an optimal pruning result. With the lower blade you cut into the bark so it does not tear away from the trunk when the branch falls. The upper blade prevents the saw from coming out of the cut. And with this upper blade you can easily cut twigs from the trunk or pull small (dead) branches out of the tree. Because of the oval shape of the aluminium pole, the saw blade is positioned in the correct cutting direction and gives precise control when pruning at height. The oval shape of the handle also provides strength and stiffness along the entire length and minimizes bending. The locking mechanisms (push buttons and clamps) together provide the safest and most stable locking of the desired pole length. The clamps of the handle and locking knob of the saw blade with socket are both mounted in line with each other on the top side of the telescopic handle. The lower pole section is wrapped with rubber for a comfortable and secure grip. The bumper at the end protects against knocks or falls. Best clean the saw blade with olive oil. Resin dissolves in olive oil, making this an effective and environmentally friendly way to clean the blade and maintain cutting performance. Tip: when you are not using the saw, make sure it is completely dry before sliding the pole sections together.
