Silky pole saw Longboy 3600-7 3-piece extendable to 3.60 m with folding blade. (SILKY article number KSI636536) Thanks to the folding blade the Longboy has a collapsed length of only 145 cm and this pole saw easily fits in a car or aerial work platform. The supplied protective cover clamps the blade to the pole so you can carry, transport and store this compact pole saw safely and easily. The 360 mm long bent blade of the Longboy features Silky's unique Mirai-Me tooth pattern. These laser-cut tines, with a kerf of 1.4 mm, cut quickly and easily. The blade is chrome-plated, flexible and only the razor-sharp tines are impulse-hardened. The upper blade prevents the saw from jumping out of the cut. And with this upper blade you can easily cut twigs from the trunk or pull small (dead) branches out of the tree. Because of the oval shape of the aluminium pole the blade sits in the correct cutting orientation and provides precise control when pruning at height. The oval shape of the handle also provides strength and stiffness along the entire length and minimizes bending. The locking mechanisms (push buttons and clamps) together provide the safest and most stable locking of the desired pole length. The clamps on the handle and the locking knob of the blade with socket are both mounted in line with each other on the top side of the telescopic handle. The bottom pole section is wrapped with rubber for a comfortable and secure grip. The bumper at the end protects against knocks or falls. It is best to clean the blade with olive oil. Resin dissolves in olive oil and this is therefore an effective and environmentally friendly way to clean the blade and maintain cutting performance. Tip: when you are not using the saw, dry it thoroughly before sliding pole sections together. Slide the supplied cover over the cleaned blade and store the pole saw in a dry place.
