Handle ATLAS 180 x 4 cm, tapered for manure hook or scoop bucket

ATLAS handle of ash wood, tapered model in length 180 and diameter 4 cm. This tapered handle is suitable for manure hooks (e.g. article number 844450) and scoop buckets (e.g. article number 928002).

ATLAS ash wood handles are made from ash rootstocks; these contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-resistant and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process the sawn ash wood planks are air-dried. During the second process the ash wood is re-dried in a climate chamber under computer control. Because of the re-drying the handle does not shrink and tools remain firmly attached to the handle.

Subsequently the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its attractive natural light color. Waxing provides a longer service life and a pleasant smooth handle, which prevents blisters. Moreover, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.

This ATLAS handle is manufactured completely energy-neutrally in the Netherlands.
