For extra strength and stability, the outer tines have a diameter of 3 mm. The remaining tines have a diameter of 2.5 mm. The sturdy clamp bracket ensures that the tines stay in the correct shape. In addition, the holes in the bracket are the same size as the tines, so 3 mm for the outer ones and 2.5 mm for the remaining tines. This prevents unnecessary friction, resulting in less wear. The waxing gives the handle a longer lifespan, makes it feel pleasantly smooth, and helps prevent blisters.
