ATLAS zinc mallet made of Azobé hardwood. The density of the hardwood provides sufficient weight for working. Unlike a lead mallet, a zinc mallet has a flat face.

A zinc hammer is used for tapping zinc or for striking and shaping other soft sheet materials. The zinc must sit snugly against a batten or seam edge without damaging the surface layer. The flat, wide striking face of the ATLAS Zinc Hammer distributes the force and prevents dents.
