ATLAS grub hoe handle made of ash wood, 125 cm long. This straight, round handle with a 50 mm ferrule is suitable for a grub hoe with a round eye.

ATLAS grub hoe handles are made from ash rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-resistant, and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process, sawn ash wood boards are air-dried. During the second process, the ash wood is computer-controlled re-dried in a climate chamber. Because of the re-drying, the handle does not shrink and the tool stays firmly attached to the handle.

The ATLAS handles are then waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This allows the wood to breathe, prevents it from absorbing water or dirt, and helps maintain its beautiful natural color. The waxing provides a longer service life and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping prevent blisters. In addition, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.

ATLAS grub hoe handles are manufactured entirely in the Netherlands in an energy-neutral process.
