D-handle ATLAS 85 cm bent

ATLAS D-handle made of ash wood, bent handle, 85 cm long. This handle is often used together with a potato fork, beet fork, silage fork, rubble fork, or grain shovel. The comfortable D-grip and strong handle are manufactured from one piece by a CNC-controlled machine. The handle of the D-grip is reinforced with a metal pin.

ATLAS D-handles are made from ash rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing, and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process, sawn ash wood planks are air-dried. During the second process, the ash wood is computer-controlled re-dried in a climate chamber. By re-drying, the handle does not shrink, and tools stay firmly attached to the handle.

The ATLAS handle is then waxed with the plant-based Carnauba. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful natural color. Waxing provides a longer lifespan and a pleasantly smooth handle, which helps prevent blisters. Moreover, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
