Spade handle ATLAS 95 cm, with T-grip, for Ideal spade

ATLAS ash wood ideal spade handle with a length of 95 cm, featuring a smooth, narrow point and a T-grip. This handle is suitable for Ideal spades with double ferrules, among others. For assembly, a 50 mm rivet is recommended (article number 651620, including assembly advice).

ATLAS ideal spade handles are made from ash wood rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-resistant, and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process, sawn ash wood boards are air-dried. During the second process, the ash wood is computer-controlled re-dried in a climate chamber. Because of the re-drying, the handle does not shrink and the tool remains firmly attached to the handle.

Finally, the ATLAS handles are waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This allows the wood to breathe, prevents it from absorbing water or dirt, and preserves its beautiful light color. Waxing provides a longer service life and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping prevent blisters. In addition, waxing handles with plant-based wax is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
