The FISKARS X28 splitting axe has a wide, thickened blade with a sharp cutting edge, allowing wood to split easily. A coating on the blade prevents rust and reduces friction, allowing the axe to move smoothly through the wood. The axe head has a precisely ground edge and is double hardened, so it stays sharp longer. The axe head and handle together form a strong connection that effortlessly absorbs the impact during splitting.

The durable lightweight FiberComp handle is very strong, virtually unbreakable, and absorbs shock. Thanks to the shaped 3D design, the axe fits comfortably in the hand and prevents twisting during splitting. The SoftGrip handle ensures a good grip and prevents the handle from slipping in your hand. Because of the hook-shaped end of the handle, grip is secure and the axe will not slip out of your hand. With the included protective cover, the FIKSRAS axe can be safely transported and stored.
