The Silky Ultra Accel Curve 240-7.5 is a folding pruning saw with a bent 24 cm saw blade, suitable for branches up to about 12 cm thick. The bent blade shape creates natural downward pressure during the pulling saw motion. This increases cutting speed and makes the saw especially suitable for pruning work above shoulder height. The lightweight aluminium handle is covered with rubber, which provides a firm grip. The rubber also reduces vibrations while sawing.

The chrome-plated blade made of high-quality Japanese steel has a coarse Mirai-Me tooth pattern of 7.5 tines per 30 mm and a kerf of 1.3 mm wide. The non-set tines are sharpened from multiple angles and easily clear away sawdust. The coarse teeth engage quickly and are intended for efficient cutting in fresh, moisture-rich wood. In dry wood, the tines can have a harder time engaging and may cause more vibration. The tooth tips are induction hardened, keeping them sharp for a long time.

Keep the saw blade clean to maintain good cutting results. Stuck resin can be removed with resin remover or olive oil. Dry the blade after use before folding the saw and store the saw in a dry place.
