Pruning saw - Folding saw SILKY Super Accel 210-7.5, straight blade

Folding saw SILKY Super Accel, blade length 210 mm, cutting capacity 105 mm, equipped with a straight saw blade with a coarse tooth pattern of 7.5 tines per 30 mm, suitable for green wood.

The SILKY Super Accel is an ultra-light folding pull saw. This compact saw is easy to handle, even in denser vegetation. The straight blade of the Super Accel folding saw is chrome-plated and fitted with SILKY’s unique MIRAI-ME tooth pattern. The laser-cut tines, with a kerf of 1.3 mm, cut green wood quickly and easily. The saw blade is set at an angle of approximately 10 degrees relative to the handle. This requires less force when sawing and reduces vibration.

The aluminium handle is fitted with a rubber GOM grip, which absorbs vibrations and provides the user with a very good grip.

When folded, the saw is easy to transport and store. The lock knob provides safety during cutting and storage. Using the notches in the top of the blade, the saw blade can be set in two positions.

The SILKY Super Accel pruning saw is also available with a bent saw blade.

Maintenance
To maintain good sawing performance and extend the service life, maintenance is important. After use, dry the saw and use olive oil to clean the blade. Olive oil dissolves resin residues and is environmentally friendly. Be careful with aggressive cleaning agents, as they can damage the handle. After cleaning, store the saw dry.

SILKY MIRAI-ME tines
The tines are ground into the blade with three cutting edges. This makes the blade surface and the saw cut extremely smooth. Because one in every few tines (depending on the type) is ground outward, sawdust is discharged optimally. This prevents the saw cut from clogging and ensures smooth sawing. For pruning work, the smooth saw cut causes minimal damage and promotes quick healing of the pruning wound.

The patented MIRAI-ME tine configuration makes it possible to use the saw in 3 ways:
- cross-cut (perpendicular to the wood grain)
- rip-cut (with the wood grain)
- diagonal across the wood
