The forged dutch hoe has a distinctive heart-shaped base plate and is sharpened all around so the dutch hoe cuts through all types of weeds with ease. Hoeing also loosens the soil, improving the soil structure. All dutch hoes from De Wit are forged from pure hardened steel. The dutch hoe has a self-sharpening tapered blade allowing prolonged use. The hoe handle is provided with a wax coating that prevents blistering of your hands.
