The forged dutch hoe has a distinctive heart-shaped sole plate and is sharpened all around, allowing the hoe to cut through all types of weeds with ease. Hoeing also loosens the soil, improving the soil structure. All dutch hoes from De Wit are forged from pure hardened steel. The hoe has a self-sharpening tapered blade that allows for long use. The hoe handle is coated with wax to prevent blisters on your hands.
