ATLAS shovel handle made of ash wood, straight T-handle with a length of 110 cm, with a strong through-mount T-grip. A straight shovel handle is often used together with a digging shovel or Drent model shovel.

ATLAS shovel handles are made from ash wood trunk bases, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing, and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process, sawn ash wood boards are air-dried. During the second process, the ash wood is computer-controlled redried in a climate chamber. Because of the redrying, the handle does not shrink, tools remain firmly fixed to the handle, and the through-mount T-grip can be pressed onto the handle without glue or a staple.

Next, the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful light color. Waxing provides a longer service life and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping to prevent blisters. In addition, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
