Gooseneck shovel handle ATLAS 100 cm double-bent, with through-mount T-grip

Double-bent handle for use with, among others, a concrete shovel, flat shovel or scoop shovel.

Gooseneck shovel handle ATLAS of ash wood, double-bent T-handle in length 100 cm, with strong through-mount T-grip. Also called Gooseneck paving T-handle or swan-neck T-handle. Gooseneck shovel handles are recognizable by the thickened underside of the handle. The thickened underside makes the handle extra strong and ensures it sits firmly in the hand.

A double bent handle is often used by pavers.

Thanks to the double-bent S-shaped form, the handle sits nicely high while the shovel or concrete shovel rests flat on the sand. This ATLAS double-bent gooseneck shovel handle is usually used in the infrastructure and paving sector together with a concrete shovel, flat shovel, digging shovel or a scoop shovel.

This double-bent handle is shock-absorbing and strong.

ATLAS Blijham handles are made from ash rootstocks, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process sawn ash wood planks are air-dried. During the second process the ash wood is computer-controlled re-dried in a climate chamber. Because of the re-drying the handle does not shrink, tools remain firmly attached to the handle and the through-mount T-grip can be pressed onto the handle without glue or staples.

Next the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt and retains its attractive natural light colour. The waxing provides a longer service life and a pleasant smooth handle, preventing blisters. Moreover, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
