Silky fixed straight pruning saw Gomtaro 210-8 incl. safety holster. (SILKY item number KSI310221) Blade length: 210 mm (up to ± 105 mm) Tooth pattern: coarse (8 tines per 30 mm) The straight blade of the Gomtaro pruning saw is nickel-coated and equipped with Silky's unique Mirai-Me tooth pattern. These laser-cut tines, with a kerf of 1.4 mm, cut fresh wood quickly and easily. The saw blade is flexible and only the razor-sharp tines are impulse hardened. For sawing between the knee and up to shoulder height a straight blade (Type Gomtaro) is recommended; for sawing below the knee and above shoulder height a bent blade (Type Zübat) is recommended. The rubber handle fits comfortably and securely in the hand and absorbs vibrations. The Gomtaro pruning saw is available in several lengths. All saws from the Gomtaro series are supplied with a lightweight polypropylene holster with removable belt loop. The holster is designed so that the saw cannot fall out. Yet you can pull the saw out in one motion. The two rollers in the holster prevent the sharp tines from damaging the sheath and the bottom has a large opening for removing moisture and sawdust. You clean the saw blade best with olive oil. Resin dissolves in olive oil and this is therefore an effective and environmentally friendly way to clean the blade and preserve the saw's cutting performance. Slide the supplied cover over the cleaned saw blade and store the saw in a dry place. Tip: Keep a spare saw blade nearby so you can always continue sawing easily.
