This telescopic polesaw from Silky is razor sharp, strong, easy to use, and lightweight. The 390 mm long bent blade of the Hayauchi is equipped with Silky's unique 4-RETSUME tooth pattern. These laser-cut teeth, with a kerf of 2.3 mm, ensure a large wood removal so you can easily and quickly saw through the thickest branches without the saw getting stuck. The saw blade has a nickel coating, is flexible, and only the razor-sharp teeth are impulse hardened. Two blades (sickles) on the blade together ensure optimum pruning results. With the lower blade you cut into the bark so that it does not tear away from the trunk when the branch falls. The upper blade prevents the saw from slipping out of the cut. And with this upper blade, you can easily cut twigs off the trunk or pull small (dead) branches out of the tree. The oval shape of the aluminium pole keeps the saw blade in the correct sawing direction and provides precise control during pruning at height. The oval shape of the handle also provides strength and rigidity along the entire length and minimizes bending. The locking mechanisms (push buttons and clamps) together provide the safest and most stable locking of the desired pole length. The clamps on the handle and the blade locking knob with socket are both mounted in line with each other on the top side of the telescoping handle. The lower pole section is wrapped in rubber for a comfortable and secure grip. The bumper at the end protects against impacts or drops. Clean the saw blade best with olive oil. Resin dissolves in olive oil, making this an effective and environmentally friendly way to clean the blade and maintain cutting performance. Tip: when you are not using the saw, dry it thoroughly before sliding the pole sections together. Slide the included sheath over the cleaned saw blade and store the polesaw in a dry place.
