Manure fork handle ATLAS 100 cm, for fork with forged tines, T-grip

Manure fork handle or pitchfork handle ATLAS of ash wood, straight model with a length of 100 cm, provided with a T-grip. Suitable for forks with forged-on springs. For assembly two 50 mm rivets are recommended (article number 651620, including installation advice).

ATLAS fork handles are made from ash rootstocks, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process, sawn ash wood planks are air-dried. During the second process, the ash wood is re-dried in a climate chamber under computer control. Because of the re-drying, the handle does not shrink, and tools remain firmly attached to the handle.

Next, the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This ensures the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful natural color. The waxing provides a longer lifespan and a pleasantly smooth handle, preventing blisters. Moreover, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
