Club hammer handle ATLAS made of hickory for a 1250 gram club hammer or stoning hammer, with head size 18.5 x 31.5 mm and length 26 cm. Produced according to DIN 5135 standards and suitable for club hammers or stoning hammers with DIN 6475 standard.

Due to the oval shape of the handle the hammer head is always in the correct striking orientation. For fitting the handle a metal hammer wedge No. 4 with article number 651445 is recommended.

Hickory is a heavy and hard American wood species that is even stronger than ash wood. Hickory is particularly tough, shock-resistant and resilient. The ATLAS hickory handle is also waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This allows the wood to breathe, prevents it from absorbing water or dirt and preserves its attractive natural colour. The waxing extends the service life and provides a pleasant smooth handle, preventing blisters. Moreover, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
