Spear & Jackson spade type 1041AR with polished blade, complete with a very strong fibreglass T-handle. The total length of the spade is 115 cm. Suitable for heavy-duty use. The distinctive yellow handle has a number of specific features such as; The grip is covered with natural rubber, the handle has a thick 16 mm fibreglass reinforcement and is encased in special plastic. This plastic protects the fibreglass from damage (damaged fibreglass consists of hundreds of upright fibres which can cause wounds that may become infected). This handle is not completely rigid, but offers a certain degree of desirable resilience. Because this handle is so strong (stronger than the blade), no warranty is given for breakage of the mounted spade blade. If, against expectation, the handle or the blade need to be replaced, these are available separately (handle art.nr. 211800 or 211802), (blade art.nr. 810409), (rivet art.nr. 651590).
