The blade has forged reinforcements and a thickness of 2.5 mm. As a result, this digging spade is very strong. Thanks to the step, footwear is not damaged.

Because of the large blade, the ATLAS DIAMANT digging spade is used for various earthworks in construction and road building. In addition, this spade model is also ideal for uprooting and planting, for example, trees, shrubs and hedges.

The ASH WOOD ATLAS shovel handle is made from ash under-stems, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood has been computer-controlled re-dried in a climate chamber. As a result the handle does not shrink, tools remain firmly attached to the handle and the through-mount T-grip can be pressed onto the handle without glue or staples. ATLAS handles are bent in boiling water. This causes the wood grain or fiber in the handle to bend along and prevents the grain from running out of the handle. The bending process makes the handle extremely strong. In addition the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based carnauba wax which provides a longer service life and a pleasant smooth handle, preventing blisters.
