DE PYPERE Broadfork for soil cultivation in the ornamental garden and vegetable garden

Broadfork or aerator DE PYPERE made of lacquered steel, frame width 45 cm, with a working width of 32 cm and 3 forged tines measuring 26 cm in length, total height 117 cm. The handles have a length of 14 cm. This broadfork is also called a Grelinette, loosener, or compost fork.


With this broadfork, you can easily loosen the top layer in the ornamental garden or vegetable garden. It is also used for loosening compost.


Thanks to the leverage of the broadfork, you can work with relatively little effort. Because of the length of the handle, the user stands upright, which greatly reduces the chance of back problems. Due to its wide shape, the handles do not hit the body during use.

Then you pull the frame backward, causing the soil to loosen. With a twisting motion, you loosen the soil further. If needed, you can use the prongs to loosen larger clods a bit more.
