Post hole digger IDEAL Jumbo no. 2, type 6407, complete with ash wood handles, fitted with red-lacquered, hardened steel blades and an adjustment chain, total length 220 cm. Suitable for digging holes with a diameter of 150 to 320 mm. The size of the blades is: 220 mm high x 190 mm wide at the top of the blade x 150 mm wide at the bottom of the blade.

With the hardened, hollow-shaped steel blades, holes can be made in various soil types. The blades are pushed into the ground. By moving the handles apart, the blades grip the soil. The adjustment chain can be used to fix the desired width. The adjustment chain also serves as a lock during transport or storage.

The ash wood handles of the IDEAL post hole digger are provided with a milled end slot. This slot fits precisely over the steel rib on the inside of the socket. Thanks to this tongue-and-groove connection the handles remain firmly attached and do not rotate during use.
